Making every celebration easier - all-included DIY cake kits. Contains everything you need to create a delicious, professional-looking three-layer cake. You pick your flavor and we'll send the rest! We've developed two flavors of reverse-creamed cake mix, our special shelf-stable buttercream, AND formulated fondant based on centuries-old tradition. We don't skimp - ingredients include Madagascan vanilla powder, powdered egg whites instead of thickeners, rich dark cocoa, and real flavor extracts.
Our cake beats the custom 3-layer bakery price and hassle of buying the ingredients, pans, and tools yourself. Each kit includes cake mix, pre-loaded buttercream piping bag, white and colored fondant, dusting pouf, rolling pin, fondant smoother, cake server, cake board, measuring cup/fondant cutter and three disposable baking pans. The mailer even doubles as a serving box. Serves 12-24 individuals.

How far in advance should I order?
We recommend ordering at least 14 days before your event to allow for shipping and a little prep time on your end.
How long does the kit stay fresh?
The cake mix, buttercream, and fondant are shelf-stable for 6 months from the manufacture date. Technically no refrigeration needed until you're ready to bake, but we do recommend refrigerating the buttercream to minimize any separation.
Are there allergens in the kit?
Our products contain wheat, soy, eggs and milk products. They are also manufactured in a facility that may handle tree nuts. We hope to have gluten free solutions in the future! Full Ingredient List
Do I need any equipment I don't already have?
Nope — the box includes the pans, piping bag, smoother, dusting pouf, rolling dowel, cake board, and server. You just need an oven and a mixing bowl.
Can I choose a different size or flavor combination?
Right now the kit makes one 3-layer cake serving 12–24, in Chocolate or Vanilla with a Pastel color palette. We will feature seasonal flavors and designs — stay tuned for our next feature cake.
What if something arrives damaged?
Email us at info@mycakeinabox.com with a photo and your order number, and we'll get it sorted out right away.
